FudoChat was developed as a collaboration between Novosi, the Eating Disorders Clinical and Research Program at Massachusetts General Hospital (EDCRP at MGH), and the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School.

It is designed to help expand food choices in picky eaters.  Picky eating is a known risk factor in developing Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID), a serious eating disorder characterized by extreme picky eating.

The app's guide, (named Fudo), teaches you about exploring new foods using components from the CBT-AR treatment developed and being studied by EDCRP at MGH.
